Kevin Renfro
Managing Partner
Born and raised in the Louisville, Kentucky area to a working family, Kevin has been an attorney since 1981, started practicing as a civil justice attorney exclusively on behalf of injured people since 1987, and is now the Managing Partner of the Becker Law Office.
Kevin received his BA degree from the University of Louisville in 1978 and juris doctorate degree from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1981. He was on the President’s List while an undergraduate student and on the Dean’s list while in law school. Kevin is admitted to practice in Kentucky and Indiana as well as several levels of the federal court system in Kentucky and Indiana, including the Federal Court of Claims and Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Kevin is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys, the Louisville Bar Association, Floyd County (Indiana) Bar Association and the Fayette County (Kentucky) Bar Association. Kevin is also a member of The Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
He is a frequent lecturer to other attorneys, paralegals and insurance claims representatives on topics of personal injury law in both Kentucky and Indiana, including automobile tort and workers compensation. Kevin serves on the Board of Directors of CompEd, Inc., a nonprofit corporation dedicated to continuing legal education in the area of workers' compensation law.
Kevin serves on the Board of Governors of the Kentucky Academy of Trial Attorneys. He has been given the KATA Outstanding Service Award for his work in educating other attorneys and for his tireless efforts in promoting and upholding the civil justice system for the good people of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Gary Becker
Of Counsel
Gary Becker received his B.A. degree and J.D. degree from Indiana University. He was actively involved in the practice of law for more than 40 years and is now Of Counsel with the Becker Law Office.
During his career, he served as a speaker at the University of Louisville Law School along with serving as a Judge for their Moot Court Competitions. Also, he has given presentations at continuing education programs sponsored by the Kentucky Bar Association; Kentucky Academy of Trial Lawyers; Indiana Bar Association; and Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, as well as to various business and civic groups.
He served his community through his involvement as a permanent deacon at the Church of the Epiphany and has previously served as a member of the board of the Kordes Retreat Center and the House of Ruth. He also previously served as a member of the Women's Commission of the Archdiocese of Louisville; as a member of the Archdiocesan Vocation Council; as a member of the Board of Directors of Wayside Christian Mission; and as a member of the Board of Interfaith Caregivers of Kentuckiana, Inc.
Michael A. Landisman
Attorney at Law
Originally from California, Michael grew up in Owensboro, Kentucky and has called Kentucky home most of his life. Raised by a mother and father who had to work multiple jobs to support the family, Michael learned at an early age the importance of hard work and the sacrifices that have to be made in tough economic times. Inspired to military service by his grandfather who is a World War II veteran, Michael obtained a Congressional Nomination to the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Congressional Nomination and Appointment to the United States Air Force Academy. He attended the Air Force Academy and was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 1999. Michael then enrolled in the University of Kentucky where he received a BA degree in Sociology and Political Science, graduated Magna Cum Laude, and earned departmental honors in Sociology.
Michael was a charter member of the University of Kentucky Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta International Law Fraternity and a member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity. He went on to earn a juris doctorate degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he was awarded the CALI Award for Labor Law. While in law school, Michael volunteered on the Kentucky Foster Care Review Board to help at-risk children find safe homes.
Michael is admitted to practice in Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee. Michael is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Kentucky Bar Association, the Indiana Bar Association, the Kentucky Justice Association, and the Louisville Bar Association.
During his education, Michael’s mother was significantly injured in an automobile collision when her car was smashed into by another vehicle while she was stopped at a red light. Seeing the pain and discomfort that she had to endure, in addition to the resulting stress and financial difficulties, Michael decided to focus his legal career on helping injured people like her.
